GCSE Vocabulary: Realtionships Set 1

Each week you homework is to learn 20 words from the GCSE vocabulary booklet. I shall put some interactive exercises here each week for you to practise.

I'm putting a link to some flashcards and a variety of games that you can play to practice the vocabulary.  I hope that you find the, useful.

Great website for practising vocabulary

I've just come across a great website for practising vocabulary! Have a look at Reall Languages it covers French and German (and more) and at different levels - choose from the side bar!

Remember you can also use Atantôt (ask your teacher for the username and password), Languages Online  and MYLO (My Languages Online) to practice vocabulary too.

MRS VAN DE TRAMP

Year 8 have been learning the MRS VAN DE TRAMP VERBS. They are the verbs that use être as their auxiliary verb (instead of "J'ai" you say "je suis" with these ones!).

We watched this little cartoon, the sad tale of the chicken who live a very short life...but I'm sure he was very happy!

Online Dictionary

Do need to find out the meaning of a word in French or German to help you with your homework? Don't use a translation website....use WordReference.com. It's an online dictionary. Type in your workd and tell it which language you want the word in. It's really good!
