Ian Ramsey gains International School Award

In August we were awarded the International School Award. Many of you will have seen a rather large file that seemed attached to Mrs. Butterfield, towards the end of July.This was our International School Award portfolio that I had to send off the the British Council, with evidence of all of the fabulous international work that you all do. All of the evidence was then looked at and because the activities that we do in school with people from around the world we were awarded the Full International School Award.

On Friday it was the awards ceremony. Mr. Armstong went, as Mrs. Butterfield was ill. Below, you can see a picture of him receiving the award from George Alagia.

Phonik!

As you may have seen in the last post, we have been working on phonics in Year 7.

We made recordings of Year 7 practicing their German pronuciation and from that I have made a slidecast so that you can watch the presentation and say the sounds with the recording. It will really help with sounding German.
